Rafael Santrich was born in Cali, Colombia. He is currently operating VM Laboratory in Aventura, Florida, and he works in office with our doctors specializing in all fixed restorations and custom cosmetics.

 

Mr. Santrich has successfully completed the Press Technology certifications of E-Max and Empress by Ivoclar at the LVI Institute. In 2005-2006 was KOL (Key Opinion Leader) with GC America. In 2007 he was selected as an instructor of Nobel Rondo (Nobel Biocare) by Ernst Hegenbarth, MDT. In May 2010 he conducted the first emax lecture in Spanish in the U.S with the FDLA (Florida Dental Laboratory Association) on ceramic system from Ivoclar IPS e.max and in 2011 on IPS Inline. In 2011 and 2012, he served as Technical Instructor in programs given by Dr. Michael A. Pikos of “CT Diagnosis and Treatment Planning with Interactive CT Software” at the Pikos Institute.

 

Mr. Santrich is currently a consultant for Sirona and the only Latin offering certification courses in Spanish for Ivoclar Vivadent in U.S.

 

In 25 years of experience has also completed several Digital photography courses taught by experts such as Dr. Ed McLaren, Claude Sieber MDT, Felix Pages CDT. Dr. Daniel Capelo and Dr. Carlos Ayala. In 2012, Rafael gave his first international course in Spanish for Ivoclar USA on The Implant Esthetics Center Of Excellence (Sarasota, Florida) from Ivoclar Vivadent. Currently, he is a member of American College of Prosthodontics and an honorary member of the Colombian Academy of Osseointegration.

 

Some of his cases and techniques have been published in books like: “Soft Tissue and Esthetic Consideration in Implant Therapy” written by Dr. Anthony Sclar.
